Our 3-Season Gardening Trousers feature built-in kneepads that are waterproof, breathable and with about 5cm of adjustability.

They arrive with you positioned at their highest point and you may need to adjust them downwards to suit your frame.

Turn the trousers inside out.  You will see that the kneepads sit inside internal pockets secured with Velcro.  The kneepad has three horizontal strips of Velcro and the internal pockets have two vertical strips.  Reposition the kneepad put on the trousers and kneel down.  The top of the kneepad needs to be about 2cm above the top of your knee so that when kneeling, the pad completely covers your knee.

You may need to do this more than once to make sure you get the kneepads in exactly the right place.  But once they're set, they stay there and you don't need to remove them for washing.
