Feathered Friends

Feathered Friends

We love feeding the birds at Genus HQ. A range of dishes from fatballs and peanuts, to suet pellets and niger seeds are on the menu and keep most of our avian visitors happy during the colder winter months. With feeders positioned just outside the kitchen window we’re treated to the sight of their beautiful  plumage, squabbles, and acrobatics each day.

Gangs of noisy Long Tailed Tits, bossy Nuthatches, Blue Tits, Great Tits, and stunning Goldfinches are our most regular visitors with the odd Blackcap and Woodpecker thrown in for good measure.  They add another dimension to the winter garden that more than makes up for the lack of colour at this time of year.
